Dreaming of a Princess Castle

Boy it's been awhile since my last post. I've been hard a work painting orders, co-ordinating an 80th birthday party for Joe's lovely Mom and Dad along with planning my wedding. In between all that I did manage to paint a new canvas piece for EmilyGraceArt on Etsy.

All little girls dream of finding their Prince and living happily ever after in a dreamy Princess Castle. Here is my version. Click here to buy the original. Eventually I'll be offering my art in print form.

TTFN... I'll be back with some wedding details...

Ohhh so HOT!

If you live on the east coast then you know we are in a bit of a heat wave at the moment. It so hot you can cut the air with a knife. This is what I hate about summer that and it makes for a terrible hair day LOL.

I makes you want to do nothing. I feel very lazy right now. I hope it lets up soon they say one more day like this. Don't you ever wonder who "they" is when someone makes that statement?

I had a buzy weekend that I feel like I had no weekend at all. Most of it was spent at ikea buying and returning (I'll leave it at that) It makes me mad just thinking about it. Let's just say I bought a beautiful bookcase (in the end) but it wasn't in the right area for purchase and I ended up bringing home the wrong piece......

In all that chaos I did get to finish this adorable frame for Emily Grace Art You can buy it here I choose to personalized it with the word "Princess" after all aren't all girls Princesses? If you prefer a childs name or other phrase I can do that too. This one is ready to ship to you and your princess. I'm off to try and cool down.

Stay cool!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone. It started off rainy here in NJ but the sun is slowly coming out. This weekend it's supposed to be very humid so to stay cool Joe and I will head to the beach or our community pool.

I've been hard at work on some new things and will be posting and sharing throughout the weekend. I do have 1 new shirt to share with you. Now available in my ETSY shop. She's a soccer diva ready to lead the team to victory! I choose pink and black for her uniform but if you prefer to have your team colors just let me know at the time of purchase. You can also choose any personalization you like or none at all.

I choose to paint her on a sweatshirt. Who doesn't love a cozy sweatshirt (even in the summer) but if you prefer a t shirt, onesie or romper that can be done too. Keep an eye out I'll be doing more dudes and diva's soon.

I have a really special frame for EmilyGraceArt that I'm working on that I think you will just adore (I do LOL)

Anyway. Stay cool....

Sunny Smiles,

Kathy

I almost forgot!

I worked on a new frame for something very exciting yet to be announced. I was requested to make a frame for "Gotcha Day" the day adoptive parents celebrate when they finally get to bring home their new precious child... Adoption is close to my heart, 2 of my nephews are adopted from Korea. Here is the frame I created....

It will go in my other Etsy shop EmilyGraceArt sometime today. If you would like to request a custom frame just visit either of my Etsy shops and convo me!

Works in progress, Jazz Festival and New Listing

I had a busy and fun weekend. Saturday I finished up some orders and started some new projects. I'll list the works in progress later today. I'll give you a hint...working a few paintings and frames for EmilyGraceArt and a new Fairy Princess for BedknobsnBroomsticks Here is my latest Fairy Princess you can find her in my Etsy shop.

Sunday Joe and I went to the Red Bank Jazz Festival. It was a beautiful day in Jersey! The weather was warm and the music was fantastic. Along with the awesome music that had a ton of talented crafters and yummy food. Tons of stuff to keep the little ones occupied too! If you ever get a chance to go to the festival don't miss out you'll really enjoy yourself. I wish I would have remember to bring my camera to take pics. There's always next year!

Smiles!
